Juanita Layne, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Skin Sanctuary in Caldwell and Sanctuary Health, a telehealth practice serving patients across Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, and Florida. An Idaho native raised in Bruneau, Juanita earned her BSN from Boise State University and her MSN from Gonzaga University, and has been practicing nursing since 2009 — with experience spanning community health, children's hospital medicine, primary care, and medical aesthetics. She treats the whole person, not just the surface, offering medical aesthetics, hormone therapy, medical weight management, and membership-based Direct Primary Care. Fluently bilingual, Juanita is passionate about expanding access to safe, evidence-based care in Spanish-speaking communities and educating patients on what safe medical care actually looks like. A proud military spouse, Juanita is married to a retired Air Force veteran, and her family still calls Idaho home. When she's not seeing patients, you'll find her outdoors, hosting family and friends at home, or traveling the world — her adventures so far have taken her from Japan and Okinawa to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Amsterdam.
